Epicsaurus and the Founder Institute
Posted on October 23rd, 2009 No commentsI’m absolutely ecstatic to announce that Epicsaurus was one of the fortunate few early admissions candidates who were accepted into the Founder Institute program! Founded by Adeo Ressi of TheFunded.com, the San Diego program will be run by Cliff Currie and Jeanine Jacobson of FounderList and will provide a lot of resources to help Epicsaurus grow and thrive, along with gaining invaluable friendships and mentors as well.
Over the next 17 or so weeks, Epicsaurus will be powering through the program and getting the mentoring and resources we need to really take this thing to the next level. We look forward to the challenge as well as cranking out several new apps in the interim and hope you will be right there with us!
If you or somebody you know is interested in technology entrepreneurship, definitely give the Founder Institute a look. Check them out at http://www.founderinstitute.com!

Open Studio has been approved and is LIVE!
Posted on May 5th, 2009 No commentsAfter a long wait, Facebook has finally approved Open Studio! Please tell your friends!
Open Studio was inspired by the popularity of gifting applications on Facebook, but we wanted users to be more involved. In Open Studio, all images available for gifting are uploaded by users, and in the process, contributors build their own virtual portfolio where they can display their work and receive comments. Anyone is welcome to join the community, from professional artists to art lovers to people simply looking for a unique virtual gift.
It’s a free gifting app with a twist, and our goal is to make it fun and useful for artists and art lovers.

Posted on May 4th, 2009 No commentsWe just applied for the FbFund! Not sure when they will get back to us, but we’ve got our fingers crossed. Disneyland for developers? I’m FOR it! Facebook is taking a long while to get back to us about whether Open Studio has been approved or not, but we hope to hear back from them as soon as this week…at least, we hope so. New features are on their way!
